Blown Glass Ornaments is a three-hour foray into the magical world of glass flameworking. After basic introduction to melting and shaping glass with an oxy-propane torch, create your own blown glass ornaments ideal for gifts or for your own collection.

What to expect: Glassblowing is an art that requires a bit practice to create the perfect round ornament. The class will start with a brief safety discussion and introduction to working with glass at the torch, we'll walk you through several demonstrations and then you'll have your first chance to create your very own ornaments. Expect several ornaments to crack or blowout on you, expect your successful ornaments to maybe be fun, quirky shapes and sizes, and expect the experience to one for the memory books.

No prior experience required! We welcome ages 12 and up. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Pick-up: All pieces made will need to be annealed in the kiln overnight. Please plan to return the following day to pick up your work. We can also arrange for work to be shipped (cost for shipping is not included in the price of the class).
